Make a 3D scan with Eva at Maker Faire
This weekend is the weekend of the 10th annual Maker Faire in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Artec, too, will join this very special event that is part science fair, part county fair and part something entirely new. This family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness is just the right place for tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, engineers, authors, artists, students and all other sorts of “makers” to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. In addition to 900+ maker exhibitors, the fair will feature 12 stages and four attraction areas with over 300 scheduled presentations and shows.
You’ll be able to find us at the stand of our friends from Applied Kinetic Arts, where we’ll be scanning attendees with an Eva handheld 3D scanner. Come by to see how fast and precise our scanning technology is! The Eva will render your facial features, hair curls and clothing very accurately, producing your detailed 3D portrait, just like it recently did on Barack Obama. So if you want your presidential 3D experience, the Maker Faire is the place.
