If you’re planning to be in Dubai in mid-April and feel like doing something special, there’s one place downtown worth checking out: the Dubai World Trade Center, where Shapify Booth will be demoed at Dubai Entertainment, Amusement & Leisure Show (DEAL 2015). You’ll have a chance to get your very own 3D portrait, a shapie, in under 5 minutes!
All you need to do to make a shapie is step inside the Shapify Booth, strike a pose and hold still for 12 seconds. That’s how long the booth’s four 3D scanners will take to go full circle around you, taking multiple shots from every angle. These shots will then be automatically stitched together to produce your 3D model, an exact copy of you, on a computer screen. Zoom it in and out, or turn it around and upside down – you’ll sure be amazed to see how accurate your 3D model is!
Want to get a physical, 3D printed copy of yourself as a souvenir? No problem, we’ll print out your figurine and deliver it to your address. Just pick the size of the figurine you’d like to have. The smallest one (6"/15cm) costs $169, a medium-sized figurine (7.5"/19cm) is $219, and the largest one (9"/23cm) is priced at $299. Delivery is $35. And if you’d like to your 3D model file to keep on your computer, you can download it from our website for $40.
